Bedford, MA: September 9, 2020 – Elevate Jet, a boutique private aviation service and aircraft management company, today announced it has completed the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage 1 certification.
The IS-BAO safety rating was developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations to hold aircraft management operations to the highest level of safety and professionalism in the aviation industry.
“We are very proud to add the IS-BAO certification to our ARGUS Platinum achievement,” stated Doug Chouinard, Director of Operations. “Our commitment to provide the best and safest practices for our aircraft owners and operators is at the core of Elevate Jet’s culture.”
Elevate Jet is among a small group of approximately five percent of the US based operators that hold the highly regarded ARG/US platinum rating. Paired with the IS-BAO certificate, which is geared towards business aviation operators, this gives Elevate Jet compliance with international standards of excellence in safety, as well. During this stressful time with COVID-19, safety takes on a whole new meaning, and having the assurance of safety, security and professionalism allows operators, owners and passengers to know every precaution is taken in Elevate Jet’s aircraft programs.
As a non-profit, international trade association, IBAC proudly represents the interests of business aviation — for the industry, by the industry — through its official observer status at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), worldwide advocacy, and globally recognized, voluntary safety standards programmes: the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO™), and the International Standard for Business Aviation Handlers (IS-BAH™).
